Purpose of the guideline: Swallowing and aspiration are common complications in oral diagnosis and treatment. Currently, there are no localized evidence-based practice guidelines in China to guide clinical practice. Therefore, it is urgent to develop clinical practice guidelines for the prevention and management of oral ingestion and aspiration based on the actual clinical situation and domestic clinical context, and provide a standardized set of operational procedures for the prevention and management of oral ingestion and aspiration, in order to provide scientific and specific guidance for the prevention and standardized management of oral ingestion and aspiration, and improve the quality of clinical services.
